EVALUATION OF THE PERFORMANCE OF THE AQUACROP MODEL UNDER DIFFRENT IRRIGATION AND CULTIVATION METHODS AND THAIR EFFECT ON WATER CONSUMPTION.

This study was aimed to evaluate the Aqua program in calibration and validity its use simulation productive water characteristics of maize crop.. The experiment conducted two irrigation methods, sprinkler surface irrigation, cultivation methods are borders (lines) furrows (lines then furrows) for cultivars maize, a hybrid (unlocal) local variety. results that reduced consumption compared as it reached (558.38) mm (668.79) irrigation. While method after outperformed only improving growth increasing productivity, cultivar cultivar. various experimental parameters were also calibrated using Aquacrop program, found gave good convergence between simulated field values, R2 values ranged (0.71-0.92) RMSE (0.12-23.76) all studied traits.
